What is considered 24-hour notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment?

Why does SCCC charge for late cancellations and missed appointments?
Your session date and time are requested by you. Your therapist has set aside that time for you and you only. Another client could benefit from that appointment time if you cancel within 24 hours. Your therapist will need to know the reason for the late cancellation or missed appointment in order to determine if the fee may be waived.
